Holidays are what makes working bearable. Knowing that you have a holiday coming up puts you in a better mood and definitely makes you more productive. However there is also stress that comes with the feeling of not being ready for that special holiday! Below is a guide to help you how to manage the process of getting ready for holidays!

1 month until that plane leaves!

Now is the time for that last effort on your exercises. Legs, bums and tums all need to get in shape. If you have a chance to walk or take the stairs, make sure that is your preferred option. Maybe have an hour of Boris biking at the weekends, and go to a few classes at the gym.

If you already have a routine make sure you change it a little bit to give your body a little shock. If you start running faster or doing a new exercise, your body will immediately react (in a good way!). Also start body scrubbing and peeling now! This is essential to have a good tan with a fresh skin on holiday.

2 weeks until that plane leaves!

Now it’s time to make sure you stop all the junk food intake. It is of course never recommended to have junk food but last 2 weeks is the critical period which will make a difference prior to your holiday. Stay away from any food that will make you bloated or make your skin greasy.

1 Week to Go

Now things are getting serious. Make sure you confirm all your dinner, massage or any other kind of bookings now! You don’t want to be disappointed when you are on holiday. Start holiday shopping. Make a list of everything you need. Did you get your sunscreen, beach towel (Luf handmade Turkish towel!), foreign currency or anything you might need specifically for this holiday? Check you have everything and carry the list with you every day. This will put you in a good mood because it will remind you of the upcoming holiday!

You are flying tomorrow!

Now you have only 24 hours left. But don’t panic. Trim, file and paint your nails and toenails. Check your list again and make sure everything is in the suitcase. Make sure you have packed lots of layers and items that are light and compact (like Luf towels!). Check on the scale that your bag is not exceeding the weight limit and you are good to go! Enjoy your holiday!
