7 Essentials for the perfect bath experience

Everybody loves a good pampering session, especially these days when we are under constant stress and worries.

1. Bath Bombs

Bath bombs are absolutely great as they combine many essential parts within them! It also makes bathing a lot of fun. Even just watching a bath bomb fizz and dissolve into the water is a relaxing experience in itself. It’s an easy way to create a beautiful aroma and relaxing mood. 2. Candles

Candles add a calming and romantic mood to the experience. They are a great addition to any part of the house, but nothing beats the bath experience with mood lighting provided by a few flickering candles. Candles also can provide fresh scents like lavender, linen, and sandalwood which can enhance the at home spa experience.

3. Podcasts

Sure we all love books and magazines but let’s be honest- it’s not the most practical when you are taking a bath! There are now thousands of podcasts you can listen to to calm your mind and learn new things at the same time. If you are feeling like it, you can even enjoy a comedy podcast. There is nothing like a good laugh to relax and enjoy your bath time!

4. Essential oils

Essential oils are another great way to make your bath time more special. As we mentioned above, a warm bath is therapeutic on so many levels! They will relieve sore muscles and joints. Adding essential oils to your bath can be the cherry on top. They make your bath more of a luxurious experience, with natural smells and on top of everything else they are a great way to moisturise your skin.

5. Real Flowers

We will admit, this can be a bit much if the bath is just for yourself but there is no more luxurious feeling then soaking in water infused with real flower petals. Think roses, lavender or jasmines which will also add great fragrances. This is one to consider for those special baths!

6. Bath Salts

Bath salts will make you feel like you just had a full-body massage! Himalayan salts are commonly used as well as Epsom When you soak in epsom salts as they both include minerals to help relax and calm your body, muscles and joints. The magnesium in bath salts is absorbed by the body to help us relax our muscles and joints. Great to include in your bath especially if you have back and joint problems!

7. Hammam Towel

Hammam Towels, also known as Turkish Towels are super light and soft. After a long and relaxing bath, our recommendation is to use a handmade hammam towel rather than an ordinary heavy bath towel as they are absorbent and quick dry as well.
