1) Edinburgh
Edinburgh Christmas Market is one of the country’s longest running Christmas Markets. The Scottish section has traditional gift options, whereas the European section definitely has a very multicultural feel. There is also a children section for the families. You can also warm up with a mulled wine or a hot chocolate.
2) Belfast
Belfast Christmas Market opened on Saturday 19th November and will be open until Thursday 22nd December 2016. There will be different parts in the market from all around the world including Germany, Belgium, Spain, Italy and a number of local traders. Father Christmas will also be in the market to meet the children and families.
3) London Southbank
Traditional Christmas Market of Southbank in London returned this year with a few nice and modern touches. There are quite a lot of international food options, burgers, waffles, and crepes as well as boutique huts selling handmade products. This year there is also a Rollerdisco in addition to all other Christmas shenanigans.
4) Hyde Park, Winter Wonderland
Probably one of the best known Christmas Markets in the country and in the world, Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park is a classic enjoyed by thousands of Londoners and tourists every year. In Winter Wonderland one of the first things you will notice the huge 60 metre wheel that looks like London Eye. That is one of the tamest rides of course, as there is a wide range of rides one can get in the park. The wooden huts offer great Christmas presents and food for all. You will also see the largest outdoor ice rink in the country in Winter Wonderland.
